There are many solutions available to help you to ease your baby's teething pain. Every child responds to something different, and every parent trusts different types of treatments. Here are few well-known remedies: 1. You could offer your toddler something cold to chew on, such as a frozen fruit pieces, raw carrot, cucumber or celery stick straight from the fridge. Stay with him when he is eating it, to make sure he doesn’t choke on any pieces he bites off. 2. You could offer your toddler a cold, wet flannel. 3. You could offer your toddler a chilled teething ring. Solid teething rings are recommended over gel or liquid-filled rings, which could leak. Never dip a teething ring in honey or anything sweet beforehand. 4. Gently apply light pressure with a clean finger (you can cover it with wet gauze or a washcloth to protect your hand) or a cold spoon. Hope it helps!

I'll suggest you try the following before going for those teething rings, as they are made of either rubber or silicone and are not really good for babies (or anyone). 1. cut carrots in long strips and keep in the freezer for some time to make it absolutely cool. give this to your baby to chew on. 2. drape a clean piece of cloth around your little finger and help your baby chew on it (it won't hurt) and gently massage on the gums. 3. a lot of parents massage the gums with honey, but it can lead to botulism in babies who are less than a year old, so refrain or speak to the doc about it first.
