Hi should I pay my children to help at home so they learn the value of money and also as a form of motivation?

This definitely is a good idea but take care that you don't over do it. My mom used to pay me if I did extra ordinary home tasks like once I fixed the tap which was leaking. My dad also paid me for washing his car every week. But imagine if they paid me for everything ? Even throwing trash or even cleaning the plates once in a while ?
