Hi mummies, wondering if u have heard about infant care centres that do not encourage breastfeeding? One particular centre located near my office discourages me from doing so even though I can drop by to breastfeed my baby regularly. Any thoughts?

There are some centres that do no support breastfeeding, although most do. I have also heard of centres who do not allow the mums to come in to latch on during the day. I guess maybe some of the centres are afraid of contamination and hygiene issues too with regards to handling breastmilk. Please speak with that centre supervisor properly to see how they can partner you. If you really would like to breastfeed, then I guess you have to find another centre which does.

That sucks. Would change IFC. My baby goes to adventure land in Far East square and they have been great about letting me pop in to feed her whenever I want.

thanks
