Does anyone encounter problem of not being able to sleep during confinement period for day and night? I also feel very hot even though the aircon and fan is on? What is going on?

I also experience insomnia during confinement for some days. I think it's quite normal as our body is trying to adjust to the new schedule of taking care of newborn. But if this is a prolong situation for you, it's better to seek doctor's help as insomnia is one of the postnatal depression symptoms. https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/isnt-what-i-expected/201201/you-just-need-sleep-or-could-you-be-depressed It's normal to feel hot during confinement period as we take in confinement food which are known to be more heaty (confinement wine, red dates tea, gingers). Try to take more showers and you will feel better.
