Is it a good idea to force a child to take music lessons?

please Google on the 10 intelligence in all of us. find out if your kid has a musical liking in him or not. are you forcing your child becoz you never got this opportunity, so basically he's learning music to fill the gaps you faced or is it bcoz you are told that you must expose kids early on go these things so that they can be Jack of all.... your question is incomplete as you don't give details of what music u want ur kid to learn or his outlook towards music....or if u see it other way, u r answering your own question...u are agreeing that u r forcing your kid and forcing is anytime bad only
