Transvaginal ultrasound
Good day mommies. Ask ko lng po. Is it possible to know the gender of the baby sa transvaginal ultrasound? How many weeks po ang pinaka early pra m determine po ung gender? Thanks poe
Too early to tell po sa 1st trimester. Di pa rin developed ang genitals nila para malaman. All embryos (yes, embryo pa lang sila, not yet a fetus) sa 1st trimester ay may sort of a tail na nawawala habang nadedevelop sila to a fetus. Yes, may sex na silang naka-assign from fertilization (based on what chromosome the sperm was carrying) pero hindi pa ito magshoshow agad. Earliest possible time is around 16weeks pero not 100% sure ito. Sa technology natin dito sa Pinas, and as practice sa mga sonologists natin dito para iwas sisi pag namali, isusure nila yan usually 20weeks above. Unless nakabukaka talaga si baby by 16/17weeks. Ayun po.
