UTI

Hi! FTM here, just wanna ask regarding UTI. I'm 22 Weeks pregnant and I was diagnosed for UTI thru Urinalysis (2 times). However, my doctor asked me to do Urine and Culture Test and the result was No growth after 2 days of incubation. Does this means that I don't have UTI?

Opo. Mas accurate po ang urine culture kesa urinalysis test. Minsan po kasi madumi lang yung catch naten ng urine kaya may nadedetect na bacteria.

Wala ka pong UTI, possible contaminated yung unang urinalysis mo. Next urinalysis po ay yung kalagitnaang flor ng ihi ang kunin nyo.
