Unity or Guardians Folic Acid
Hi all, first pregnancy here n gynae asked to see her after 8th week. So thinking of buying folic acid n take on my own first. Is this 2 brands ok or should I buy a more commercial brand? Anyone on this? TIA!
Some folic acid are 1mg and some are 5mg.. those at poly is 5mg.. for pregnant woman better take the 5mg as per my gynae.. those 1mg is for those who is trying to have a baby.. whatever it is.. best solution is to get prescribe folic acid from gynae or poly..

Best to buy it from govt hospital pharmacy as it is very cheap compared to Watson or guardian etc or from private hospital.
U can go polyclinic and tell them you pregnant and ask them if u can start taking folic and also how much or gram to take.
Generic brands are fine. Hospital pharmacies also have it.. no prescription required
I take the ones from guardian. It’s the same folic acid prescribed by my gynae.
Is better to wait for ur gynae to prescribe
