Do fathers feel uncomfortable when their pubescent daughters go out to the beach or pool wearing a bikini? Do they start to avoid looking once their daughters start growing up?

My dad (and mom) had alot to say about my clothing choices when I was growing up into my teen years. I remember wearing cute swim costumes when I was 9-10 and suddenly when I was 11 and got my period, I was not allowed to wear them anymore haha. My teen years consisted of me always trying to circumvent my dress codes but this ended when I started working summer jobs, part time, giving tuition and earning my own money when I was 17-18. Reckon parents, dads especially, will be initially overprotective but they will eventually get over this ;)
