Hi everyone asking for opinions

My father in law smoke even in the house. Next week we will go back to our hometown with my 6 months old baby. How to tell him or my husband to not touch the baby or smoke in front the baby? Even if my FIL didn’t smoke in the house still the smell can last and I am scared that he will kiss the baby or cough in front the baby

1. tell your husband that you guys need to make sure your baby always in safe zone. keep their distance. 2. before your FIL ask to hold the baby, you can smell his body first and told him nicely that his body smells ciga or ask him to wash his hands first.

I think just provide reasons to explain it, pretty sure he will understand
