First of all, congratulations! Now answer to your queries: 1. Check out the options at baby fair or stores such as Mothercare, First few years etc. Do check the reviews online and watch youtube videos on usage, assembling etc. Compare the price online vs offline once you've decided on the brand & product before purchasing. I'd recommend Evenflo travel system - easy, lightweight, multipurpose. 2. I think that should depend on the Doctor, cost included, facilities offered and the distance from your home. I've read good reviews about both TMC & Mt. A. Didn't get to do hospital tour due to covid and had to manage with virtual tours available online. We chose Mt. E Novena and extremely happy with our decision. 3. Again due to covid, we couldn't. There're some great videos available on Youtube which were our saviour. So I'd say it's good to join but not need to join category. Wish your wife a safe pregnancy and smooth delivery :)

Thanks much! Will check out the evenflo system 😃

you can go to mummy fair or store itself to see car seat stroller etc but don't buy first. lesson learn it's never cheap there you can get better deals online or even at the official store itself. just survey and note what you want. I did not do any hospital tour I think to me it's no necessary. my main concern is gynae. my gynae only locates in gleneagles so I just follow. but I'm really satisfied with everything there like nurse etc. I didn't went any antenatal class as I have some experience in taking care of babies.

yes! save more to buy more stuff 😂

For strollers, car seats etc, you can check out Mothercare at Harbourfrony Centre or Mummy’s Market at Suntec City. I did hospital tours at TMC, Mt A and ME Novena. To get a sensing and check out their registration procedure too. I eventually delivered at Mt A. Yes, it’s good to go antenatal classes. To be mentally prepared. I did mine at Mt A. There’s classes at TMC too. Or private ones which is more expensive but smaller classes. For me, it’s more of location and convenience.

Hey I appreciate it! Ah didn't realise that the hospitals will also have the classes. At Mt A were there also programmes / memberships similar to TMC which accords benefits etc?

1) mother care, mummy's market at suntec, takashimaya, baby Kingdom at kaki bukit 2) I only did hospital tour at mt e novena coz I only want to deliver my 2 babies there as gynae clinic is there. I feel more safe with my gynae within the bldg. my gynae can go 3 hospitals, mt e novena, tmc n mt alvenia. he least prefer tmc. depends on your budget as well 3)I didn't.

Thanks! Baby kingdom wasn't in sights so we'll add that.

I delivered at both mt A and TMC. TMC for my 2nd one this year due to covid and my gynae cannot go to mt A. I personally feel Mt A is better. the staff there are very dedicated to their job (you can feel they love their job).

Thanks much! Heard the same feedback from friends too. Guess we'll need to visit the place and all. Appreciate your insights!
