Rant. Mum keeps commenting that I’m spoiling my baby??

My MIL is even more ridiculous. Told me not to call my baby "guai" or praising him and told me it's forbidden based on superstition. Then, she keeps calling my baby, "huai dan", which I dun get the logic. Then when she heard me singing lullaby and reading my baby storybook when drinking milk, she told me afterwards not to do that, later my baby becomes "used to", don't want to sleep if dun listen to me singing or reading him story. The thing is, we only go visit them once a week but it always feels like a dreadful experience for me :((
