I bought a second hand Spectra S1 (hospital grade) for $50 from Carousell and it was still in pristine condition. I used to use Lacte breastpump for my firstborn and couldn’t yield as much as I do now. I’m using 28mm flange size and on massage mode for the first 5 mins to stimulate my breasts until I see a letdown (milk coming out). Then I switch to expression mode until no more letdown and I repeat the process again. I do double pump with nursing bra hack so I can be hands-free. My pump session is 30mins. Previously I was doing single-pumping for 1hr and use a Haakaa on one breast while I pump the other. I seldom latch my baby cause my left nipple is short and it’s still sensitive. I only latch on my right most of the time. I am 4 weeks post-partum and pumping 5 times a day about 4-6hrs interval. I can pump at least 1100ml per 24hrs. Maybe you can sell away all your current pumps and invest in a good quality one. Google on how to use the preferred pump correctly and measure your flange size properly too.
Read moreAre u getting second hand or brand new? If it malfunctions and it’s brand new, u can go back to the shop or manufacturer and ask for replacement? If it’s second hand then u kinda take that risk.
Maybe you can try LoveAmme, they’re quite good but like a previous commenter said, it’s important to get the correct sizes or it’ll be very difficult/painful.
is your flange size correct? did u put on the duckbill valves n install all the parts correctly? what do u mean they malfunction on you
Carousell. Is your flange size correct…?
