This happens to me whenever we go to, let's say in indoor playground, and my daughter is sleepy or tired and we forget to wash her hands. Anywhere where kids congregate, especially indoors, is a breeding ground of germs. Make sure the people who handle baby, and baby, wash their hands. Maybe also ask your PD about vitamins baby can take when it's flu season?

Yes this was the case for me. My baby was in infant care from 3 months old and he is currently 20 months. It was tedious with him falling sick regularly but there wasnt much we can do as we did not have alternative care. I guess its just part and parcel as the kid will have to go to school eventually and kids fall sick no matter how much we try to prevent it.

Dazzle is absolutely right. Regular hand-washing dramatically reduces the passing of respiratory and gastrointestinal illness, so make sure your kids are scrubbed up (or using a hand sanitizer) when they leave school and after every play date.
