Does this look like ringworm to any of you? I know the "ring" isn't clearly defined yet but just want to be sure to treat it early so it doesn't get too itchy/bad for baby. The white part in the center is a bit scaly/paper-like to touch compared to the rest of her skin

It doesn't seem like a ring worm. You can read more on the symptoms of ringworm from here. http://www.medicinenet.com/ringworm/article.htm. Ringworm causes a scaly, crusted rash that may appear as round, red patches on the skin.Other symptoms and signs of ringworm include patches of hair loss or scaling on the scalp, itching, and blister-like lesions. You can try natural remedies first, by using Four Cow Farm Tea Tree Remedy for skin rashes and infection. It contains all naturally made ingredients. If the skin didn't get better, please visit doctor to get medicated cream.

Ring worm is a type of skin infection cause by fungus and it's very common among kids especially if you have pets. You can buy antifungal cream for baby over-the-counter. However, if her skin does not improve after applying the cream, you will need to seek medical advice as it may not be ring worm.

this doesn't look like a ring worm. If its itchy, consult a derm. Sometimes a little superficial hit or excessive exposure to sun, fungal infection or nutritional deficiency can also cause such spots.

Thanks Roshni, Evelyn and Diana! Will try the Tea Tree remedy first, just as a precaution :) @Roshni it's been there for just 3-4 days. Baby doesn't seem to find it itchy

How long has it been there for? Is it itchy? Then it probably is not ring worm and might be eczema

thanks
