Does someone here experienced na kahit nagpapabreastfeed maaga parin magkamenstruation? On my case kasi, I gave birth last Nov.1. Dec 16 may bleeding ulit and I thought nagbabawas pa daw ng dugo. But last Jan. 16 nagkaroon ako and lasted for 5-7 days, so parang regular mens na but after 15 days, Jan.31 up to now may mens ako.. Nakaka 3 napkin ako sa isang araw at ngayon ko lang naexperience yung ganung kalakas except nung bagong panganak. Any thought po about this? Does it sounds alarming or what and do you think I need to go back to my OB?

Per OB, we can have menstruation a month after giving birth. But for some moms who are exclusively breastfeeding, medyo ilang buwan pa before magkaperiod. If you are not exclusively breastfeeding, then possible na period na nga sya. You might need to see your OB kasi naalala ko na bilin ni OB ko is to see her as soon as magkaperiod ako.

How often do you breastfeed in a day? If exclusively breastfeeding, meaning no other alternative milk si baby, normally, it takes several months before bumalik ang period. But if mixed feeding or hindi ganun kadalas ang feeding in a day, possible na bumalik ang period ng mas maaga.

i just give him formula milk when we're at church. but usually di nya pa nauubos yung 60ml.

Pag hindi ganun kadami and kadalas ang pag breastfeed mo, like what you mentioned na nagbibigay ka ng formula pag nasa church, possible na mas maaga ang balik ng menstruation. For those who are strictly EBF, it takes how many months or even more than a year.

Yes, possible. In my case sa first baby ko, I also gave him formula milk sometimes pero mas madami pa din times na breastfeeding kami. After 2 months, bumalik na period ko.

Post partum check up ka na kumare.
