lochia bleeding

Do anyone know how long does lochia bleeding last? I went to check up after 4weeks giving birth but doc say that there's blood clot. He giving me till the 7weeks to see does the bleeding stop if jot have to do surgery to remove. Anyone done that before?

Mine stopped a few days before my 6 weeks postpartum check up. My blood clot came out during the first week as I did post natal massage which helped with that..

12 day postpartum, now only spotting.. but every woman is different. Really depends on individual..

Mine stopped around week 8 but it was spotting type after the first 2 weeks.
