C-section lochia bleeding

Hi mommies! Im 5 days postpartum. May i know if its normal to bleed lochia lesser post c-section compare to vaginal birth as this is my first csect. Previous pregnancy was vaginal birth and lochia bleeding was definitely more comparing to now. #pleasehelp #advicepls #thankyou

I had my 2nd csect recently last week & the bleeding is not as much as I thot it would be from my 1st one. The nurse also mention the bleeding won’t be as much compared to vaginal birth. I guess it’s a good thing too cause it makes things so much easier.

Indeed 1 less thing to take care of. Hehe. Thats a relieve to hear! I was afraid that less bleeding equals to blood clotting internally. Thank you for the reply. Hope you have a smooth recovery!

I had c-sect, and I doesn’t have much bleeding after birth as I was told that my gynae has helped to clear most of it during surgery so which I suppose it should be lesser for c-sect as compared to natural delivery
