Does anyone have any diaper changing tips or hacks to share?
When I was babysitting a friend's child for the night, I noticed that she had a small water spritzer at her changing table. I asked her what it was for and she said it revolutionised the task of changing diapers. Apparently, some of the hardest diaper changes are when baby poop is stuck to his or her bottom. Instead of using loads of wipes to scrub (and risk irritating baby's skin more), she fills the small spritzer with water with a few drops of baby oil and uses it to moisten poop that stuck on baby's bum for easier cleaning. I thought it was genius!

If pee or poo gets onto it, we just hose it down with water and scrub it clean. Get an absorbent brand such as Moony or Merries which is comfortable and lasts for hours so you don't have to change the diaper as frequently.

I chain some toys to the window grille so it won’t fall off but can entertain my baby when I change him. Also need to be fast. So position the diaper under his existing diaper, before opening the diaper, remove it, then tape back the new diaper!

Also, after I've cleaned his bum bum, I'll let him go commando and air dry his bum before applying his diaper rash cream. I find that the cream works better this way and his bum has been rash free for the longest time.
