Do certain food cravings point to certain baby genders? Ppl have been saying sweet means boy, salty means girl. but others also told me the reverse. Which is true?

Not true, your taste bud just changes it taste, everything taste bland and that is why the craving starts. You start imagine to have several kind of taste to satisfy your taste bud. Craving is just an excuse to eat. You can crave anything but do not consume the same food too often. Make it varies.

Yes i heard that too! But my cravings are all crazy and im having a boy... don't think there's much truth to it because the nausea or lack of appetite makes me prefer to eat certain foods and avoid my fave ones... sob...

That's a complete myth. The myth goes that if a woman craves sour, salty, spicy or protein-rich foods, it's thought that it could mean she is having a boy. Again, there's no scientific proof to back this up.

It's not true. My 2 other friends and me were pregnant at the same time with girls. We all had different cravings. I was spicy and sour, the other 2 ladies were craving Chinese soup and cake.

I think there is no relationship between types of food cravings and baby's gender. For me, all 3 pregnancies craved for different food despite same genders for 2 of them.

It's a total myth. i have three different cravings for pregnancies. But it turned out to be all boy! Cravings are usually a sign that certain nutrients is lacking

Lol! I wish our cravings could predict gender :) my cravings are all mixed up at the moment. And No I am not having twins...ha ha ha

I don't think so. I had many random cravings, so much so my ex husband often jokes that I was just using pregnancy as an excuse lol.
