Do all babies get sick the first few days of preschool? How long does it take for their immunity to build up?

mine did, unfortunately. she went to CC for 2 days and took a week to recover and we had to restart everything again. it's quite normal for them to fall ill though as their bodies are adjusting, and some kids who are down with flu still attend school, so it's difficult to eradicate those chances. keep your child healthy with fruits, vegs, water and offer probiotics. my daughter is taking Biogaia, and it's suitable for young children.

Yes, it is quite normal for kids to fall sick during initial days in school as the virus in the cc spread easily. Normally after 2 to 3 months it will get better and kids' immune will be stronger. For me I do not fancy giving supplements. I normally give wholesome food in vegetables and fruits to build up immune, especially those are high in anti-oxidant.

Sad but true. All part of the preschool experience. My doc told me the worst years are 2-5. It gets less as they grow older, but by 5 their immunity is much stronger...and I have to say he has been right so far.

Try probiotics. We're offering our kids that so it helps build their immunity.

thanks
