We're both strict when necessary. Pero sa akin naglalambing si baby kapag napagsabihan/napagbawalan. We don't hit our kid, time out and usap lang. He's well behaved naman most of the time and we've learned ways to keep him from throwing tantrums (regular schedule helps so he doesn't get bored, hungry, too tired, overstimulated which are usual causes of tantrums among toddlers 😬)
