Did you experience the "bloody show" before labour started?

Nope, for both pregnancies I didn't get to see it. Perhaps might was broken pieces by pieces, or I could have missed it when I go to the toilet. Once you've lost your mucus plug (aka had your bloody show), it's a sign that your body is preparing for labour. It however doesn't warrant for panic so just monitor yourself and time your contractions once you feel it.
