Yes. I have been putting on my 6 months old boy daily since he was 5 months old. The area where I stay is a dengue hot spot so to play safe I apply insect repellent on him daily. I recommend California baby bug repellent which is made of organic ingredients. It is safe to apply on babies daily and it is okay even if they accidentally lick it. Moreover, it is very effective. There is no more insect bites on my baby's hands and legs which I have applied the repellent over. I applied on him 2 times a day after bathing him.

Since insect repellants usually contain deet (an active chemical ingredient in insect repellents), you might want to try natural repellents that are made with plant oils such as citronella, lemongrass, peppermint, and cedarwood. However they need to be reapplied more often than products containing deet. You could try Human Nature's Bug Shield Deet Free Oil. They retail from 7.90SGD onwards and you can get them here: http://www.humannature.com.sg/product.php?prodgrpid=08001-citron

You can try Buds Mozzie Clear Lotion. It is organic and also included Aloe Vera in the formula which can help soothes and hydrates your baby's skin. I make my own. That way I know what is inside. you can mix lavender with citronella and water.
