By what age does a toddler learn to run?

Every baby is different and there is no set age per se for a baby to run. However, once your toddler starts standing on his feet firmly and knows how to maintain his balance, he would perhaps try to run for a few seconds. Whatever be the case let you baby take his own sweet time to gain confidence and never ever pressurise him to do something he not comfortable doing.
