A book recommended 17-20 degC as the ambient temperature for baby's night sleep. This seems pretty cold to me (we currently sleep with the temp set to 24 degC). Moms in the Philippines, what temperature do you set for your baby's night sleep?

I start with 24 degC while I put him to sleep then bring it up to 25 or 26 when he's about an hour into sleep. I don't really want him to get used to sleeping in a cold room because Philippines is naturally warm and humid.

I always make sure to set the air conditioner into around 24-23 deg Celsius overnight. During daytime, we just use electric fan.
