Waiting period

Before pregnant, we kept trying to conceive, and hopefully see the positive sign when tested. Then the 2 weeks waiting. I always thought once it is positive, it will be ok. Then just do scan every mth to see baby grow. ?how naive am I. Now then knw that, after get positive, need to scan to confirm see the yolk sac, also another 2 weeks waiting, and keep monitoring and be careful for every step. Seeing it is growing, praying growing... It is not simple, mentally, physically. Must be strong. ??
