Chicken vs Chicken Soup

Been advised to refrain from eating chicken during cough but also heard that chicken soup is good? Anyone can shed some light?

Just drink lol. Hot stuff will help a cough. And seriously I think this is just pantang

Chicken is not good for cough even the eggs.
