Nung buntis ako, never ako pumunta sa wake. I felt that it might be too emotionally heavy for me, lalo na at that stage of pregnancy. I chose to send flowers and prayers instead. It’s not just about the physical exhaustion but also the emotional toll it takes, especially for us, buntis na madaling mapagod at ma-stress. Hindi ko na rin gusto makaramdam ng init o maging crowded. If you feel strongly about going, you can, but make sure to stay calm and leave early if you do. I think it’s really a personal decision.
