Sore Throat, 4 months old.

My baby throat is sore, when to consult doctor and given a throar drops and the dosage is for 3x a day. It seems by night she when to bed the effect wore off already n whenever she get up for milk, she tried to drink but she cried when she tried to swallow. Wonder if there is a way to ease her pain other than docs medicine? Hurts to see her hungry but cant drink her milk.

I know how that feels. Just like when we have sore throat ourselves just that the threshold for pain is a lot lower for babies. I don’t know what else four months old can take besides milk because they are not at the phase for other solids or liquids yet. You may wanna head back to consult the doc again and see if he can offfer alternatives
