How old is ur baby? What time is the last nap? I always make it a habit for them to sleep at night, so times up, once he start cranky mean time for nap. For example, the older the baby, if baby took afternoon nap and wake up about 2-3pm, 5-6pm may or not want to nap, make sure it's a short nap, if can drag, drag till 8+, confirm easy to sleep, cause very tired already. If baby start weaning, do cut down on sugar stuff, incase sugar rush.

A bedtime ritual can help to calm your baby down and prepare him for sleep. - Warm bath, followed by some cuddle time, and read books. - Dimming the lights and playing some calming music. - A relaxing baby massage. Get on a bed time routine. For us we shut off the lights and switch to dim lamp at 8.30 - so she knows it's sleepy time. We also give her a bath at around 8 and change her into her jammies. :) from 8-8.30 we do a feed session and then change diaper, swaddle and in bed by around 8.30

Try to get your baby up around the same time every morning, and feed her and put her down fornaps at about the same times during the day. This predictability helps her relax and feel secure, and a relaxed baby settles down to sleep more easily.

Try to engage in activities that easy and calming. Read a story book, put some smoothing music. Or perhaps reduce ur baby naps in the morning? Get your baby more involve or active in the morning.

I give a relaxing baby massage and told a story to my son
