Yes, pag employed ay entitled sa 105 (calendar) days na maternity leave which you can avail as early as 45 days before your EDD. Yes, may sweldo ka pa rin during your leave unless ipa-advance mo sa company. No, hindi sya separate sa sss matben dahil technically speaking, sa sss kukunin ng employer yung ipapa-sweldo sayo during your mat leave. So unless govt employee ka and at the same time ay Voluntary member ng sss, one and the same lang yung makukuha mong salary during mat leave and sss matben.

Online na naman po lahat ngayon :) Kapag nanganak ka na at may copy na ng birth cert ni baby, pwede ka na magclaim. Login sa sss online then Click nyo po Benefits> Apply for Maternity Benefits Alam ko po kapag ang pagclaim is less than 6 months from separation from employer, you'll also need to submit a Certification from your employer that no advanced maternity benefit has been given to you. So better na kumuha kayo nun from your employer before you leave. Better check the sss website if may format sila for that. Also, once hindi ka na employed, you have to make at least one contribution as a Voluntary member para magchange yung membership type mo from Employed to Voluntary.
