Once they assign you to the delivery room, husband can be by your side all the way. He will have a husband pass to enter/leave the delivery ward. I admitted around 11pm and stayed overnight to monitor Blood pressure as it was too high. I was induced at 9am the next morning. Can't remember how long after induce, the doctor came to ask if can break waterbag. Once waterbag broke, the contractions gets more intense gradually (over a few hours). If the contractions is too unbearable, can ask for laughing gas. Or if need to get epidural. (I tried to ask for epidural but the process was long. In the end when nurse checked, I was 9cm dilated. So don't need to take epidural. Nurse will check for dilation when they see the chart that shows the short gaps between each contractions on the machines beside your bed.

Did you stay overnight alone or with husband? So from the start of induction can hubby be with you?
