Autism awareness

Anyone po na may Ausome kids dito how did u react with this? I came home from my son's school I was completely shocked at how my son's teacher addressed him as a "Special Child' during the meeting. My kid is 5 y.o ,the youngest in his class grade 1, it pained me as a mother that they are calling my son with special needs without a ped. dev assessment n diagnoses. Now I'm anxious and stressed about having my kid on schedule for pev dev I quite cry a bit. How can someone easily say that, Kesyo makulit raw yung anak ko Hindi nakakapag salita ng mother tongue. My child speaks English only and somehow his personality is a normal happy kid.
