My 6 mths old baby is teething and she can't sleep it's been a few hrs past her bedtime, cries as soon as we put her down. She's def not hungry cause refuse any milk. Is it bad if I give her paracetamol for her gum discomfort?

I did give my baby panadol once when he is teething cos he is really crying so badly and couldn't even sleep. For me cos mine will latch for comfort so I will give in to latching. If Urs does latch then u can try latching ur baby instead of giving Panadol. Alternatively u can try cold teether to ease the pain.

A bit of baby Panadol at the recommended dosage is fine. During the day,t ry giving her cold, hard things to suck on. Breast milk popsicles are great and if she has started on solids, you could try blending and freezing fruit, like watermelon.

Try an ibuprofen instead of paracetamol as it reduces swelling, as well as addressing the pain.
