Baby’s nails

My 4 months old LO’s nails grows very fast. Barely two days is Long again.Any solutions? Is it ok to wear mittens everyday.

I used to let baby wear mittens but he liked to touch his face and had lots of rashes and pimples. So i use baby scissors to cut baby's nail when he is sleeping. No more rashes but every 4-5 days need to trim.
