2 Month Old Overtired

My 2 mth old baby suddenly doesn't want to nap in the afternoon. Even if he does, it's no more than 30mins. He's also been drinking only 50 to 60ml milk every 1 to 2hrly in the afternoon. Ultimately he becomes overtired and cries non stop when he's unable to fall asleep at night. What is happening? ?

Sounds like a growth spurt, mine went through the exact same phase. Demanding food every hour, napping very little, and scream and scream inconsolably at night for hours no matter what we do. There's not much we can do since it's just a phase they all go through, but to hang in there and remind ourselves it will pass. Jia you!
