My first baby born in KKH too.. And they help to take care of my baby for 2 whole nights.. The nurses were kind enough to ask me whether I wanted to take care of the baby or I want the nurses to take care of the baby.. I choose latter.. So I think it should be the same for all the hospital..
Maybe for govt hospital yes. My 1st born in Thomson, the nurse took care of the baby. For my 2nd @ SGH, they wanted but I humbly request put baby with them.
