Super Mum

I won't say it is consider too young but all children develop differently.. Some take longer time to train while some can be trained easily. Firstly have to make going to toilet sounds really fun.. Maybe can take his favorite stuff toy and pretend that the stuff toy is using the potty. If not you can show him when and how to use the potty. Make the whole process fun and exciting. Kids will imitate after seeing how to use it. You can also give your child a sticker for sitting on the potty/when your child tells you that he wants to pee etc.

U can try. But it still depends whether the child is ready a not. My #1 was brought up by my mum. So at about 11 months, she started using potty... My #2 I brought up myself. I started around 18 months.. there are times that I stopped cos it was tough n he dont understand.. stopped n started again about 2weeks later... Train early n can off diaper early.. I managed to get my son totally off diaper just before he turned 3... Anyway all kids are different. I never expect my son to be that fast cos he gave me lots of trouble.

Healthy children aren't physically and emotionally ready to start using a potty until they are between 18 months and three years old. Boys tend to be ready a few months later than girls. Most parents start the training when their children are between two years and three years old.

No rush for potty train. I think they will show when they’re ready! My boy will tell me when he poops, but I still let him poop in diaper cos I’m not confident haha. I think diaper is still more convenient :x

It will take some time and accidents. There’s day and night training, different approach. So you might want to take that into consideration as well. Jiayou!

No it’s not I started from 16 months Hang in there It will take some time and plenty of accidents But with encouragement and patience it will happen :)

I think 18mo is still pretty young! Mine will say poopoo when he’s gonna poo but I have to guts to let him go off diaper yet

can just let them try sitting on the potty to have the "feel" and habit. no need to be too stress about training them at this age
