My baby is 11mo and has always had a good appetite; she would eat anything and try everything. But recently for the past 1 week she has been refusing to eat so literally anything. Now she would only eat 1-2 spoonfuls of food or a few bites of bread, etc or food that she normally enjoys eating. She'd use her tongue to thrust the food out and we're worried she's not getting enough nutrients although she's still drinking milk as per normal. At the same time, she just had her first tooth eruption. Wondering if that happens to babies when they get their first tooth? Or is she just going through a phase? #pleasehelp #firsttimemom #advicepls #firstbaby #FTM #babynoteating
Read moreBaby is not gaining enough weight
Hi! My baby is currently 10.5mo and only weighs 8.17kg as of today, she should be at least 8.8kg and above by now. She eats multiple times throughout the day and is very active, so I know it's a factor for her not gaining enough weight. But I'm worried her weight might hinder her from being on par with her developmental milestones. Anyone going through the same thing and have any advice? Thanks ❤️#advicepls #firstbaby #firsttimemom #pleasehelp #FTM #1sttimemom #babyweight #activebaby
Read moreMy 3.5mo LO had been gaining weight steadily since birth and just recently (for almost a month) she went from 6.2kg to 6.02kg. She's not fussing and has been fed on demand, typically every 2hrs so it's either she's not drinking enough (direct latch) or I'm not producing enough milk to satisfy her needs. Is this normal? FYI she has been rejecting FM and the bottle, so as per my MIL's advice, we've been trying to train her to accept the bottle. Worried that the stress has been causing her to lose weight.#advicepls #1stimemom #firstbaby #worryingmom #pleasehelp

Hi mummies, is having a multitude of pain (groin, leg and backache) normal at week 37? I'm having extreme difficulty walking and sitting without limping slowly or with assistance :( i went KKH to check but they sent me home because my cervix hasn't dilated and I'm not having active contractions. #firstbaby #pleasehelp #1stimemom #advicepls #pain #week37 #thirdtrimester #labour #pregnancy #delivery #FirstTime #FTM #advice

To experienced mummies, what are your thoughts about it? Thanks in advance ❤️#pleasehelp #firstbaby #advicepls #1stimemom #pregnancy
Read moreCarpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) during third trimester
I'm 34wks and having CTS on both hands since the start of my third trimester, but my right hand got the worst of it. I can't clench my hands and every morning when i wake up, it's frozen. I've definitely lost grip power and it gets more intense when i do chores or work that requires fine motor skills. My husband suggested i soak my hands in hot water mixed with Epsom salt to increase blood flow and reduce swelling from fluid retention building up in the joints. I did so but it only helped for a while. I've seen some mummies giving advice to use a cold pack instead, maybe i should try that too. I've spoken to my gynae about it and she said it's unfortunately common during pregnancy, so she told me to wait until i give birth to see if there are any improvements before she refers me to a specialist. I've also been advised to wear a wrist brace to immobilise my hand when sleeping as the natural curling of the hand during sleep is what causes the pain in the morning. To all the mummies experiencing CTS, hang in there! ❤️#firstbaby #1stimemom #pregnancy #carpaltunnelsymdrome #thirdtrimester
