Boy 2yrs old bad eating habits

My boy now whenever meals time can’t sit at one place to eat and has to run around every one or 2 bites, watch tv or play. Any tips on How can I correct this?

it's normal,just be patient and go where ever he goes with the food.

Hi just like to check as it’s our first hfmd experience. Boy got fever around 38.5 range plus minus. Is it really necessary to administer Paracetamol? Any parents here went through without?

It should be okay. Also, you can give him ice pops to soothe the ulcers in the mouth.

Big belly for 20 months baby

My baby of 20 months is relatively skinny, small built and very active physically but his belly is growing. Is it normal or should I do a check for him? I’m just afraid it’s because of his diet. Or is this relatively normal?

My 25 months old toddler is also like that. Look like a small old boy with bulging belly haha. What do you give him to eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner?

Baby not sleeping through the night

Hi my 1yr 3 month baby is still not sleeping through the night. He usually sleeps around 8plus, wakes up once between 10pm -12am (this one usually very quickly he will Sleep again) and usually wake up once more between 2-4am which usually will take about an hour to put him back to sleep. Then he will be fully awake around 6-7am plus. During the day usually he naps twice around half to an hour plus each time. Should I be concern he’s not sleeping throughout at night cos I notice his light eye bags and worries about his sleep affecting his growth. Anyone has similar experience?

Sleep trainings by letting LO cry until they sleep themselves

Hi I’ve heard of parents sleep training their LO by letting them cry if they wake up in the middle of the night until they sleep themselves... but I also read in articles from experts saying we shouldn’t ignore a baby crying as this might build up insecurity to baby. I’m abit confuse as to what works cos I’ve been following the expert and it seems now the baby know how to use crying to get attention every time.. he is 11 months old. Any sharing views and experience on this?

Do whatever that u can accept, there is no one size fits all. Personally I didn't always pick them up immediately, usually I try to sense why they cry and if legit like there was a thunderstorm that shook them awake, of cos will carry. So just go with your gut feel

Baby weight stagnant

Hi my baby is coming to 8 months but his weight has been tanking between 6.7-7.1 fluctuating throughout the last 2 months. Personally I feel that like me, my baby is just on a smaller side and as Long as there’s no drastic drop in weight it’s fine. My wife is very concern as she sees other babies in her mummy chat group grow bigger and faster. Should we be worried?

as long as baby is healthy probably that's okay! maybe you could check in with your PD during routine checkups/ jabs if you are still worried.

Bathing the baby....

Hi all, as the title says.. currently we bathe the baby in one tub of water, put him in and and then soap him in the same tub and wash him up. Everything seems to be fine but I’ve been wondering, since we Soap and wash in the same Tub and water sometimes he bite his toys maybe his finger with soap... does it matter? Or is it that the baby soap is very Mild and meant for baby to bath Like this hence little Consumption it’s ok. So Far my baby Is 7 mths has all along no issue bathing this way. Is this how you guys bath your toodler if not how should we do it? Thank you

Cross eyes in new born common?

Is cross eyes a major concern for newborn? My wife seems very anxious to get him out of it. 2months old LO. Not very often just once a while

Redness on the Scalp

My 7 weeks old started to have redness on his scalp. Sometimes it spread to larger surface. Anyone experience this? No other abnormality. We suspect it’s due to heat??

Was the baby shaved recently? The scalp might be more sensitive after shaving. Or if baby just changed shampoo that might be the cause too.
