what is the most common training that we can do at home to boost my child's confidence?

Napanood ko sa Facebook na mukhang effective, ay yung dad na nakaharap sa salamin with his baby girl and everyday may chant sila na "I am beautiful, I can do this". I think eventually, mag grow ang confidence ng bata and alam niyang blessed din siya :)

What are the ways we can help our kids become resilient?

While young, you can teach them to be resilient by not spoon feeding them with everything they need. Let them come up with answers and solutions to simple scenarios on their own also. Allow them to commit mistakes and just guide them accordingly.

What is it that you do everyday that you think helps your child to grow with confidence?

I think, mas na booboost yung confidence ng anak ko everytime na naaappreciate ko yung mga little things na ginagawa nya. Lalo na when I give her compliments. It makes her happy and confident. :)

Hi Yayo! How do you make sure that in raising strong and confident children, they don't become too impulsive especially in their teenage years?

I think the most important thing is to help them make smart decisions. It starts by trusting them and building their confidence. Kasama na rin siguro yung tamang disiplina na di nakakasakal. Para they don't feel like they have anything to prove or yung feeling na magrerebelde sila. Hope this helps!

Does crying in front of your child affect in building up their confidence?

I don't think crying in front of your child can do much good. It's important for them to know that you have emotions too, but it's best to stay calm, as you're their source of stability and strength.

Hi, Miss Yayo. In your case, what are some of the activities that you and your kids do in order to help them build confidence?

For me sis, i engage my kids in different classes like swimming for example. Kasi nakakainteract sila ng ibang mga kids plus nagiging bonding activity na din namin.

If a teenager got their heart broken how can you teach them to be strong and move on based po sa experience nyo?

Ako sis, sa experience ng mga pinsan kong may mga anak na teenagers, most of them, ang ginagawa is inaaliw yung mga anak nila by asking them to go out and do recreational activities. Kumabaga, inaaliw nila yung mga bata. It is, I think, a form of distraction for the kids na din. But of course, I believe na we as parents, also have to let the kids cry it out first. Kumbaga, acknowledge the pain and then learn to let go of the emotion.

Hi Yayo! Big fan of yours since Bagets days. Just wanted to know how can I teach my daughter to be confident about her body and looks? Lately she has been bullied sa school due to her weight. :(

Let's try to explain sa mga kids natin na normal ito nangyayari. At iparamdam natin sa kanya lalo kung gaano sya kaganda sa figure nya. Not because a girl is skinny, beautiful na. Eka nga dun sa kanta na "All About That Bass" di ba? Hehe

Hi Yayo , Im happy that your in parenttown . Recently nagkaroon kami ng matinding away na mag asawa at nahantong ito sa usapang hiwalayan . I feel devastated i want to fight for our marriage and lalo na sa pamilya namin . I dont know what to do this time , if you are in my situation what would you do and how will you explain it to your children ?
