Applied yokoyoko for my wife back pain at week 26. But realise it’s not save to. So clean up about 5 mins later. Should i bring her to the dr? Read many bad reviews.

If the back pain persistent, you may get maternity belt support or you can visit doctor/gynae to get cream for back pain. Alternatively, she may also do some stretching every now and then. As body is preparing for labour you tend to feel back pain.

25 weeks and dry throat

Has anyone has extremely dry throat and mouth during pregnancy? And no matter how much water drink you drink it’s still feel dry? #advicepls #firstbaby #pregnancy

I do feel this way occasionally. Either I gulp a lot of water or drink something flavoured.

How many ultrasound scan during pregnancy? Anyone got poked too hard during scan?

I’m under subsidised route at kkh, I’ve had about 3 scans now, week 6, week 12, and week 20 which is recently. The week 20 scan hurt so much as the nurse was trying to get all the arms, legs and kidney and heart measurements. And she also poke too rough to my stomach and shake/slap my belly a few times to make my baby move. Is that normal? She seems like middle age lady from China. Now I’m scheduled to have another scan after 4 weeks, but I’m scared it will be too rough again.

Coffee during pregnancy will make baby skin dark? I’m a coffee person and husband is controlling me

I am limiting my coffee intake daily since pregnant, but husband insists on not having coffee during pregnancy. This is making me stress and make me want to stress eat/drink and give in to my cravings more. Has anyone drink coffee during pregnancy and baby come out with dark skin?? #pregnancy #firstbaby

No omg 😅 I drink coffee and bbt thru out my entire pregnancy, baby didn’t came out with dark skin 😂 Maybe limit to one cup per day (caffeine).

Things to buy for newborn

Anyone has any list of items to buy for newborn Can I get it through a Website? First time mumny here.

Hello mummy! These are what I bought. You can get them from Shopee double digit sale (8.8/9.9 etc) or at the upcoming baby fair (7-9 Oct). 1. UV steriliser (Optional, but saved me a lot of time!) 2. Cetaphil baby wash & lotion 3. NUK oral wipes 4. Sudocrem (Diaper cream) 5. Cotton balls (for face or if don’t use wet wipes, for bumbum as well.) 6. Wet wipes (Optional if you’re intending to use cotton balls to clean bum) 7. A lot of hankerchiefs for shower & spit ups. 8. Bath tub 9. Nasal aspirator, Nail cutter/file 10. Liquid cleanser (If you have bottles/pump parts) 11. Stroller/carrier (for check ups) 12. Car seat (if driving or intending to use it for PHV) 13. Pacifier (I’m using Avent) 14. Baby cot (optional if cosleeping on bed) For clothings, try to get hand me downs on Carousell/from friends and families as baby grow really really fast. Save the money on other stuffs instead :)

One off bleeding 23 weeks

Hi mummies, I had sudden bleeding (blood trickling down my legs) for around 10mins after a hot shower. Went to gynae immediately and did a vaginal and urine test but could not find any bleeding in the vagina or urine. Gynae could not diagnose the cause of bleeding but put me on bedrest for 4 days. I have low lying placenta though at my 20 week scan. Do you all have similar experience? Very worried #1stimemom

I had same experience, bleed like 1st day of period. rush to gynae but unavailable to find any blood. 🤷‍♀️ baby is 13month old now n healthy 😊

Frequency of baby kicking

Hi. I’m 24 weeks pregnant and I have observed that my baby does not kick very often during a day. Should I be worried? Next check will be in 4 weeks’ time.

only be worried if it’s not often after 28 weeks. it’s normal that it’s still not often at this stage.

Hi, has any mommy been prescribed Lovenox/ Heparin shots to help with blood coagulation? How is the baby now? My lab test shows high d-dimer (1.8) during 20 weeks and prescribed it by self injection in the fatty part of belly every 48 hours till 28 weeks. Just want to understand if this condition is rare or prevalent.

When I contracted covid at 19 weeks, I was given enoxaparin sodium injections, which should be the same as lovenox. The assessment was to prevent blood coagulation as I have diabetes, covid and pregnant, which poses a higher risk for blood coagulation. However, it was only during the period when I was covid positive. Thereafter, I didn’t have to continue with it anymore.
