Frequency of baby kicking

Hi. I’m 24 weeks pregnant and I have observed that my baby does not kick very often during a day. Should I be worried? Next check will be in 4 weeks’ time.

Usually babies are more active at night and morn. You can try to sit or lie reclining at night or morn when you wake up and feel baby’s movement. It is said that the rocking movement from mummy’s movements gets baby to sleep and when mummy’s calm and resting, baby gets more active. After a while you’ll notice the pattern and can possibly even know what time baby is usually more active. For me, it’s usually right before I sleep, guess that’s because I start to calm down and take slow breaths. And in the morning, my baby is usually active at 8 when I just wake up and place my hand on my belly to feel him.

only be worried if it’s not often after 28 weeks. it’s normal that it’s still not often at this stage.
