How do you arrange night shift with husband and helper?

Hi FTM mum here and I’m planning to hire a helper. I have confinement nanny for 1st month but not sure how to arrange once nanny leaves. Can any mums who have helper share if their helper take full night shift? Or you and hubby take night shift instead? Initially i plan to let helper take night shift but my mum questioned if i really trust helper with it. Thank you.

Anyone have used or have heard of a baby belly binder? Some said it’s pointless, but my mom insists that i get it. Help? 🫠

Hi mummies! Those visiting NUH for your prenatal checks, how often does your gynae take ultrasound?

firsttimemom #advicemommies Is ultrasound taken for you at every appointment or only specific weeks? If you could share, who is your gynae? Thanks!

Depends on your gynae. Some do not have ultrasound at bedside so you’ll get an ultrasound only during your fcc scans

When is your first Gynae Appointment?

I think I am at 4W5D now, but the earliest appointment date for the Gynae I choose is mid-December, should be around 9W by then. Is it okay? Quite worry as I can’t be sure of what’s going on inside… think I had a chemical pregnancy last month too at around 4W. What about you guys? Or any advice? #firsttimemom

I’m at 6weeks and my first appt is next week. Feeling nervous!

Superstition about first tri

I understand usually people will announce pregnancy after first tri but what about buying things lol. Just discovered I'm preg and didn't tell anyone apart from hub cus pantang but I'm thinking about buying things before prices increase next year already. Should I be pantang or just heck it

Hi I'm just wondering if HL can be given before I pop. Am in the preschool industry and honestly feeling the inconvenience when I'm only in my second tri. Cannot imagine working when belly is huge. Any educators like to share their experience? Or anyone knows if gynaes are generally ok to give HL? Or which one doesn't so I can avoid hahaha

yes the obstetrician will usually be able to issue HL 2 weeks leading up to EDD

Hi, any mummies who has premature deliveries before can share the estimated cost of their hospital bill including baby staying in NICU? Would be grateful if there's info on KKH & MT. E Novena charges for the above scenario.
