Clear Watery Discharge

Currently 35wks. Been having this type of clear watery discharge for more than 2wks. Consistency like water & no foul smell or whatsoever but i can feel it when the discharge comes. The amount of discharge will actlly seep through my panties if im not wearing any panty liners. Is this normal?#firsttimemom #seriouslyasking

Stomach tightness

Hi mummies, I’ve been feeling tightness throughout the time I wake up from my sleep at 7plus or so until now. I’m 35 weeks now going to 36. Not sure if I should go KKH and check it out and my pregnancies are all smooth just that I am currently 2cm dilated and no mucus plug or anything.

Should you feel concern, you should call labour to have you under observation and monitor your baby's heart beat, signs of contractions through CTG.

When can I start drinking coconut water?

Currently 32 weeks FTM! Curious to know when can I start drinking coconut water? I’ve been having only water, occasional decaf coffee and soy milk zero sugar ever since I’ve been diagnosed with gestational diabetes.

My gynae told me not to drink coconut water as it have high calorie. Maybe you can consult your gynae first, especially you have GDM.

NUH delivery cost

Hi Any mummies out there went thru private csect delivery under Class A or Class B1 at NUH for C-section? May I know the total fee pay out after Medisave deduction?

Hi which week are you at? When I had my 30-week antenatal check, the nurse called my q number and briefed me on the financial aspect. To answer your question, they quoted around $11K for A1 ward for csect, after medisave deduction

Insomnia in third trimester

Hi FTM here at week 31. I had sleep problems starting 2nd trimester but during that period i can at least fall asleep (only issue that period was waking up 1-2 times middle of night and can’t get back to sleep after) . Am in 3rd trim now and I could barely sleep despite going to bed at 10.30pm. It’s so tiring as I still have work the next day. Often awake till 1-3am. Tried relaxing music and it didn’t work. Sometimes it’s due to baby being active that keep me awake. It got so bad that i rely on drowsy antihistamine to knock myself out twice every week to get proper sleep. Any tips?

Hello! I’m also a FTM in my third trimester now and also facing this situation but I guess it’s normal. I just endure it and try to pass my day 🥲 sometimes I will just take a quick nap during lunch time or in public transport/car if I have a seat on MRT/bus. It’s indeed tiring but please hang on! I played relaxing music before sleep but it only work sometimes, which is better than nothing for me. Otherwise, I will take a day off from work to sleep in longer or afternoon nap to recover my sleep 🥲 I also will tell baby to let mommy sleep because mommy is really tired and have to work the next day. Glad that he listened and stop kicking.

I understand that if sugar reading is high I should prick myself a couple of times a day to see which food are possible triggers. Can you share how many times and when respectively? Totally forgot after hearing cause too depressed. Pls enlighten #

Newborn essentials

Hello mummies & daddies! Im currently 30wks pregnant and i am only starting to shop for baby now. I understand and is familiar of the list of things i need to prepare (clothes,bibs,wipes,pampers,breastpump etc) but I am unsure of the qty i need to prepare(?).
