Just went for 39 weeks check up today and doc booked my induction date in 2days time, 1st feb 2023. Super nervous but excited for baby to be out soon before EDD on 4th feb 2023. Any induction mummies out there? Kindly share your experience please me. First time mom to be here.

Hi 1st week of baby Born, anyone doing breastfeeding ? May check usually how long the flow will come? KKH nurse asked to breastfeed since day 2, but the volume still very small after day 5. 10ml for 1 side every time extract

Mine came at day 5 also, with only 10-20ml for afew days. now my LO is 20 days old, I’m slowly increasing supply.. still at 120ml for both sides at best

Doesn’t want to sleep

Hi there. My 25 days old newborn hasn’t been sleeping in the afternoon from 12pm to 6pm. Will sleep after feeding but once we put her down, she will cry. Any idea why?

Should I room in with my LO and helper or just with my LO?

I am getting a helper and am wondering if I should have her room in with my LO & I? Would if make a difference if I were to bottle-feed or breastfeed?

And oh, with regards to the helper. As a first time mum, help is greatly appreciated and needed for the first few weeks as it can be tiring and stressful if you’re on your own. Once you feel more confident, perhaps you can do it without your helper and have more privacy and one on one time with your LO. All the best and good luck!

Is it a must to use binders after csect? If dont use, will it prolong the revovery process? Tried to put on binder on 2 weeks csect postpartum but always felt like slight sharp pain internally. Now 3 weeks postpartum and stomach area still feel quite sore to touch and when move around. Is it normal? #pleasehelp #firsttimemom #advicepls

I don’t think it is a must, but more of advisable to wear to give support to your abdomen muscles? I am also 3 weeks in but my stomach area isn’t sore. I wore the binder since the day i was discharged and only remove it when i bathe. It has helped me to move around easily tho and my tummy has shrunk alot. Perhaps dont skip on your painkillers and move slowly? Also, if you wanna wear then perhaps dont wrap it too tightly, just enough to give support :) jiayou!

Belly binder must cover incision?

can somebody advise me if i have to wrap the belly binder and ensure it covers the csect incision or do i just wrap it around my tummy and let it not touch the wound? Its so annoying cus whenever i sit, the binder gets pushed up. Not sure if its supposed to cover the lower abdomen or just my belly? Pls advise me

Prolonged Jaundice

My LO jaundice level was 180 on 18 Feb (she was 2 weeks 4 days). We have since fully feeding her FM and stopped feeding BM since I'm eating confinement food. Anyone going through similar experience? How long does it take for the jaundice to go down? Any tips? #advicepls #pleasehelp #firsttimemom #firstbaby

actually why feed fm instead of bm? Confinement food is healthy and fine to give bb bm
