Coughing with phlegm

My 5 weeks old child is having cough w phlegm. Went to the doc and she said if cough persist in a week or theres fever, bring to hospital. Its been day 4 now and baby still coughing. Any home treatment remedies?

Baby wake up few minutes after putting into crib

Hello Mummies! Who faces the same situation as me whereby each time I hoax baby to sleep and he indeed fell asleep in my arms. But once I transferred him to the crib he wakes up immediately or around 5-10mins later….. Any tips/sharing?

I will swaddle if baby still needs to. Otherwise ill make sure baby deep sleep in my arm, slowly lower down my arms by putting head, body, turn baby side ways, put small pillow at the back and small pillow front tummy. Then pat the butt lightly. It works for my baby.

7weeks bb with phelgm

How to reduce phelgm for 7 weeks bb (mainly drinking formula)? Ixxit encourage to dilute formula milk? She will have split out during feeding and split out seems like its phlegm n milk #advicepls #pleasehelp #firsttimemom

Is pumping suppossed to hurt?

Hi guys...I just want to compare experiences. O exclusively breastfeed but I dont latch,bO just tranfer and bottle feed. Anyways...I normally always pump 10 to 15 mins MAX. I heard about power pumping or how some people can even pimp for 40 mins to an hour... I can say I honestly cant. Beyong 15 mins, my nipple is already very sore and sensitive and my back alreadh starts to hurt...

How long have you been pumping? Maybe need to check whether you are using the correct flange size. For me, it's only sore a bit for the first few days. Now I can pump 20 min with no issue.

My LO is 1 months 8 days. Currently I am feeding him with mixed of bm and formula. For formula is 100ml and bm is 110ml. However most of time he is not burping and puke out. Total one day intake is around 850ml or more. I am not sure am I overfeeding him that he can't burp and puke out. In the night, he can stretch until 4 hours until the next feeding Should I feed him lesser like 90ml?

thank you for the advice. May I know how long is your bm feeding interval? As for burping on your shoulder, I tried but LO will puke out a little. Only on rare occasions then he will burp

Travelling with 7 months baby

Is it advisable to travel with newborn baby? I have to go for my sister's wedding in bali for 3 days. I have a helper and trust her with the baby but was wondering if its too troublesome to travel with baby and best to leave him home with helper instead since its a short trip.

Honestly, I think it’s really fine to take your infant along with you to bali. Although he/she does not know what’s happening, I believe it’ll be apart of them ; the places you bring them to. Take lots of pics too so that you can show him/her when she’s older :) If it was me, I’d bring my little one along cause I can’t bear leaving her in SG while I fly out although it’s gonna be brief. I know it’s gonna be alot of work and packing with the little one but I’ll still choose to take her along! But it’s really how you see it. Perhaps you can consider bringing your helper along if you’re afraid that it may be overwhelming?

Postnatal massage necessary

Hi Mommies out there, I didn’t lose any weight or feel any much different after I gave birth to my firstborn via caesarean with 10 sessions of postnatal massage.. Just wonder if postnatal massage is really necessary? I just delivered my second baby 3 weeks ago, and my gynae told me i can only have massage after 1 month (C-Sect again). Base on previous experiences, e postnatal massage only helped me to relax my stiff shoulders.. And I don’t feel much bodyache during these 3 weeks so I really not sure if I should considering to have one? Please share with me what does postnatal massage benefit? Thank you.

hi i did post natal massage 11 sessions over the course of 2 weeks it really helped me tons to get back into shape. you should do it 2-3 weeks after birth. esp when they do breast and stomach massage it helps to get the uterus back in place. i didn't have any body aches either and a smooth delivery but it gives a lot of benefits in terms of getting back into shape and also the insides of your body. esp your tummy when its been stretched so much during pregnancy. i used the post natal massage from PNSG. highly recommend them

Is this BM or FM? And interval of how many hours? You can follow as advice by doctor or from FM tin.
