I think my mucus plug come out alr, brown blood jelly texture discharge with no contraction… called kkh and they say no painful contractions is ok… what does it means can stay home?

Helps!!! Currently at 37weeks 4days stomach feeling tightening and pressure so badly… happens 1hours more than 4times 😢 is this normal? So uncomfortable… but no discharge…

Am at 39+1 today, suddenly while working had the urge to poop. Went to the toilet and was suffering from getting the poop out. I thought I was in labour. But not sure what contraction feels like to start off with. My tummy was in pain and I was sweating like crazy. Had cramps while trying to push the poop out. But didn’t manage to actually shit. Is this signs of being in labour? The urge to poop Is real but nothing wants to come out. Diarrhoea whole other level. It was draining my energy. Am I suppose to go to the hospital just in case I’m actually in labour? But no water bag or mucus plug seen. #firsttimemom #pleasehelp

I have an appointment with KKH next week where they are going to check dilation of cervix as I am 38 weeks in. Is it really painful? The strep b swab they did for me was really painful and rough. Male doctor.

Hi, Has anyone went thru induced labour bfo? Doc suggested me to induced as my cervix is not opening/thinning naturally yet. Should i? Or just wait a little longer? Cause doc also mentioned and worried abt water level depleting… I heard its more painful than natural labour. And would i be needing epidural? 😢 FTM here. I'm giving birth soon. I hire a confinement lady via an agency. My mother said she wants to come and stay with me to help out during my confinement period. I do appreciate having as much help as possible. However, my mother has some traditional thinking about confinement and is pretty opinionated.
