Hi , im at my 35 weeks now . my baby is very active . due to that im having lots of cramps whenever i walk . if i lie down , and want to turns side i will feel cramps around my butt and private part area and also pelvis area . but no bleeding at all . is just cramps continuously 😭 is it normal as baby i downwards already

Yes it is normal. Your baby has limited space hence movement will be very much minimal. So when baby toss,turn,kick you will feel uncomfortable or pain. Plus your body preparing for labour at this very last lap. There are people that experience sciatica which is the pain from the butt, nerves till it is hard for you to step on the ground. You can do massage, light stretching to ease pain. You can also out cushion when you rest/seat.

Kinokitmisu Detox Enzyme

Hi anyone can share if during breast feeding can drink kinokitmisu detox enzyme sachet as I have very bag IBS syndrome

I wouldn’t recommend, regardless of brands. You’ll need a lot of extra calories and energy to breastfeed else end of the day, even if you clear your IBS, you’ll have no energy. Also not forgetting, no matter how breakdown it gets when it reaches baby, there will still be some that will pass thru your breastmilk. Hope the above helps! Ask GP/Gynae for alternatives.

38 weeks KKH appointment

I just went for my appt on wed (37 weeks). My 38 weeks appt is next week but I have yet to receive the appt date in health hub app 😑 Does anyone know how long they take to set an appt or you think doc/nurse forgot to schedule an appt? Is there any number i can call or anything i can do to check? Getting anxious, thank you! #firsttimemom

I did my appt on just on Thursday and I received my upcoming appt for next week on same day but hours later. I will use health hub or health buddy. Alternatively if there's no update you can call general hotline to check.

Chonky Baby - Vaginal Delivery or C Sect

I’m at 38 weeks. Went to check up recently and baby is weighing in at 3.7kg. Had scheduled a c section on 1st Feb as baby was breech before hitting 38 weeks. Now baby is in normal position. Doctor said able to do normal vaginal delivery, but there are risk upon delivery as birth canal might be too small for baby. If opt for vaginal delivery and things go south, might lead to having emergency c sect…. Should I go for the scheduled c-sect or try for vaginal delivery first? Don’t know which is best for me and baby :( #advicepls #firsttimemom

1st pregnancy @Week 32

Am feeling nauseous all over again. Is it normal? I also do have sharp pain directly to my hips when i sat down on a chair or on a bed.. what can i do to relieved the pain..

You might be experiencing sciatica and acid reflux during this last lap of pregnancy. Perhaps can get pain relieved from gynae/doctor. Alternatively, to do massage or light stretching.

Body ache like crazy

I’m at 38 weeks and every morning when I wake up I feel like a bus just ran over me. Body sore like hell. Rest of you mommies feel the same way too? No signs of labour at all. Just rib cage hurting too.

Yeah, same club of Feb 2023 and 38 weeks too. I am having sciatica on my left butt without fail Ill feel the pain as well as acid reflux. You feel the ribcage painful because baby has limited space. Second pregnancy and no sign of labour too 🤣😂 Awaiting for the ticking bomb 🤭

Been getting cramps lately for the past few days and it comes and go. When it comes, my belly will tighten up. At times, my lower back hurts. I know baby is pressuring down whenever I walk but these cramps seem to not go away. Should I be worried? First time so I ain’t sure about anything. No other symptoms though.

I’m 37+3 today m, ftm as well and I have been experiencing the same for the past two evenings whenever I walk or bend down. In fact, I have some light spotting this morning and doctor advised me to go to Thomson labour ward for a check. Nurses checked - baby heartbeat is fine, cervix is not dilating, very mild contraction which is probably braxton hicks and they let me go. I asked the nurse about the cramps for the past two nights and she was saying they were probably braxton hicks. I went to see my gynae after that and checked with him as well - he said if it gets more painful than what you’ve been experiencing for the past two nights, come down to labour ward to monitor again. If you are worried, always check with your gynae and see what he/ she will advise? I wasn’t so concern for the past two nights when the cramp on my abdomen and mid-back happened as it typically goes away when I sit down in a comfortable position. Only panic when I saw blood this morning…

Pregnant @34 weeks

I am more angry then sad . Need something to rant? My mood is all mixed up. I am angry suddenly my husband tell me that tomorrow he will goes and play soccer with his friends after work. Normally he will tell me in advance and I am fine. So I sound angry and replied him that “this is too much “” “cut down ur soccer”. The reason why I have said that is because few months back it’s like a weeekly thing .. then stop . Then now suddenly let me know TMRW he will have soccer . Why I am so angry? Actually I should be resting and don’t bother right. I don’t want to probe this as I don’t care already. Just do whatever he wants . I am 34 weeks and I need my rest. Back of my mind, can he accept if I suddenly said TMRW after work I will meet my friends. (We have a toddler that goes to childcare but my in-laws fetch after school thing) Pls let me know why I’m so angry .

It could be just hormonal changes. Furthermore you are at your last lap hence you feel tired (I assume) and you have a child. So basically after CC, you still need to care for your child. Maybe you can speak with him and let him know to minimise his activity when needed esp during this last lap. However, don't be angry. Sometimes, as a parents we need our own me time. If you were to hang out with friends, I guess it will be fair too if you were given the green light. I mean once awhile why not? Away from spouse and child just for hours. Just set a limit to your spouse that if this next time happened he should inform in advance before saying it last minute. This is to be fair and not controlling his movement.
