2025-02-03First time pregnancy and wanted to ask if anyone experienced the same? I’m in my first mth and I’ve already gained 3 kg in less than a week. Ive not eaten a lot but it seems like I’m having a lot of water retention and my face / eyes are really puffy / swollen to the point that I’m feeling discomfort and self conscious…. Any advise?
2025-02-03Has anyone experienced a fussing baby at breast due to baby choking/coughing from a previous breastfeed? My 1.5 month old baby seems to remember a choking incident (although v light, with slight coughing). The choking is likely due to a fast letdown. My baby now fusses a lot/refuse to eat from that side of the breast which caused the choking. What are the ways you have continued to encourage baby to feed without fussing? Would using a nursing pillow help to reduce choking incidents?
2025-02-03Hi could anyone enlighten if its ok to drink a small bottle of apple juice with aloe vera pulp? I googled and they mention it could cause miscarriage or birth defects. Im so worried as im 11 weeks pregnant now. Need an advice.

2025-02-04Hi mummies, I am currently 7 weeks + pregnant and currently waiting for my 8 weeks first scan. It’s my second pregnancy; first pregnancy ended with a miscarriage. Up till now, I don’t feel any nausea at all. Not much pregnancy symptoms except mild cramps and tender breasts. I am quite worried as I don’t really feel pregnant at all. With my first pregnancy I have nausea and do definitely have more symptoms. I feel very normal and at times I feel my body is in quite good shape and spirits, don’t feel pregnant at all. Is this normal.. I hope all goes well for my first scan 🥹
2025-02-04I have been taking diclectin regularly as my nausea was 24/7. However, it got a little better after week 12. When I tried to reduce the dose then and skipped my morning dose, I vomited during lunch hence I resumed the 2 pills a day. Now I'm at 14 weeks and wondering if I should try reducing it again. Does anyone have any experience on reducing the dose from taking it regularly?

2025-02-04I had a c-sect last 2 years. My edd now will be in August. However, the doctor said if I want to go for vaginal birth, it must all come natural. As in contractions, water bag burst, and dilation. There will be no assistance such as induce. Is there any tip for me to have vaginal birth naturally?

I heard that the waiting time is really long.. anyone can share your experience and the whole journey for the first appt at the clinic? I have another appt in the evening after that and I'm afraid that I won't be able to make it in time. Thank you! Update: surprisingly I didn't have to wait too long for my 3+ appointment and could leave before 5pm that day.
2025-02-05Baby has been drinking normally since birth (90ml every 3hours) but a week ago, have been refusing the bottle and drinks 30ml (or even lesser) every 5-6 hours. No changes whatsoever to bottle or milk. Was at the doctor for baby’s 2nd month checkup but no abnormalities. #Needadvice !

2025-02-05I am 8 months postpartum! Got my period a month after giving birth and period has been consistent. This month my period is late? Last period was 30th December till early January. Now it’s feb 5th supposed to get period but it’s not here yet. Very anxious as I don’t want to be pregnant now. Had s3x but use condoms! Not sure if i ovulated later this month???????? HELP!! Hahahaha.
2025-02-05My hub have not been doing his part as a father or husband...all he do is usong his phone all day...will only move when told a number of times. Midnight when the LO (2yrs old) is crying...he just continue his sleep even he heard it. There is no moral support. When his mom ill speak of me, he only ask her to keep quiet...no show of siding me or say something to stop her from talking it again. Things just keep repeating. Is tiring, ever did talk to him, but sometime he control too much, self center.#sharing

2025-02-06Im only 12weeks and i had this jelly like. i had sex 2 days before this. im not sure if this is the balance sperm or something more serious like mucus plug. sorry for being paranoid coz this is my 4th pregnancy after 3 losses within 2 year. 😔 also i did experience this jelly like discharge with no blood at 18 weeks pregnant in 2023, and 1.5weeks later i gave birth to a 19 week old baby who didnt survive.

2025-02-06hi, i have a question for all mummies here currently 28 weeks pregnant but baby is in a breech position. got told off by doctor that if by my 32nd appointment baby is still breech, might have to choose csection instead which i would prefer to avoid at all cost due to financial and current household situation as no one would be able to support me physically if i were to end up with csect. any vids or ways that has worked out for mummies who were having baby in breech position but by 32nd week++ baby ended up head down? my firstborn were in the head-first position from 28 weeks onwards so im quite nervous about my 2nd pregnancy 🫠

I couldnt get out of bed It hurts when i lie down they say its suppose to hurt when u move but mine was constant and im28 weeks..what can i do for this? Because i dont want to go A&E and be sent home with panadol only

2025-02-07I’ve been vomitting since i hit week 6 (counted based on my lmp).. have yet to go my first gynae appt as it’s only scheduled in march. Does anyone have any remedies to help with the morning sickness? Weirdly enough my morning sickness disappears in the afternoon but gets worst in the evening and night :(
2025-02-07Hey mommies i have extremely painful ligament pain Its hard for me to walk and care for my toddler I went to a&e and they gave me a panadol, 2 days mc and send me home and a referral to physio. It has been very crippling for me i cant do anything except cry at how bad it is. Has any mommies experience this? Any doctors who can help with this? I would like to badly feel better so I can get back to my normal life again but it seems that it wont happen until i give birth Im 28 weeks now

2025-02-08I don't feel much back pain or nausea for 2 days. Only morning nausea. I mean at night I do get leg cramps. This morning I had a sharp pain on my right side. When I rub my belly, I can still feel hardness. I am worried,i don't feel hungry. Usually I will wake up at around 8 am,would feel hungry needing to drink some milk and crackers. #firsttimemom

Letting it go for $250 (original price $294), hoping it can help another mom who needs it. If you know someone who could use it or you’re interested please let me know. I’d truly appreciate any help in finding it a new home🫶
2025-02-08I got so tired and lazY to do anything... I got so upset with my gynea when she simply dont even bother to understand how tored i am and just plainly refuse to listen pr to gove MC or HL and says I can try giving her my boss to number to her so she can call my boss if I wan take HL to rest. I am so stressed and tired all the time. With a gynea that just rushes the scan and not empathetic, i dont even looking forward to my check ups anymore. I got soooo bad mood with everything. I dont even know how to call myself down. Still left 9weeks but i just so worried and overwhelmed about everything.

2025-02-08Hi mummies can I just ask. I was in the taxi otw home, and my 2.5 year old son was feeling hungry so I gave him a snack. Then after a while, the taxi driver said cannot eat in the taxi. (I think it is a rule that we can’t eat or drink in the taxi right? Can someone help me check?) So I said, but then a toddler is not able to tahan his hunger or thirst, so can’t he make an exception for these grp of ppl? (i.e children/elderly/sick people). Then he said again that cannot eat in the taxi cos later the food all drop, and that if my son is hungry then that is our problem. So rude of him to say this? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sorry just ranting here
